What’s Been Happening!

There are so many stories to be told.  Traveling to book clubs, events, organizations to present ‘Sousanna The Lost Daughter’ I am meeting and hearing so many courageous, and interesting people and their stories. I’ve always been what we all call ‘an open book’ with my life…haven’t had much choice when you get up, for years, every morning putting on your leotards and tights, and of course my dance skirt, and get in front of a group of dancers to help them feel comfortable in the most vulnerable of learning situations…dance.  I[...]

A Trip to Greece

Bob (my husband) and I have decided to go back to Greece this year, in May, for a visit. I am so excited to see Greece again and to see my family. It’s been 15 years since I’ve been back.  Yes, it’s been that long. We told Kim why we had made our way to this particular winery; it[...]

Austin, TX

One of the more frequent questions I am asked, after writing this book, is ‘Why did you decide to write this book?’ and ‘Why now?’ Initially my response was long hesitations with clumsy, awkwardly pasted together thoughts…I was not prepared for this, the most obvious of questions. I took the question with me and did what I always do, process.  Yes, I am one of those that needs time to think and process till the answer reveals itself, as it finally did…and this why I chose to write the book, and why I chose to write it now. For as long a[...]
